The Undertaker's Wife
I adore being the undertaker's wife. It touches my heart that my husband and I can be a blessing to people during the most difficult times of their lives. Death is not an easy subject for most people, but comfort and encouragement can heal even the most shattered of hearts.
God's Word is the only comfort and encouragement that can do that type of healing. Whether you're going through a death in your family, struggles in your personal or professional life or any other difficulties, Scripture is an everlasting comfort when you need it most.

What are you favorite Scriptures of peace, comfort and encouragement?
Hi, Laura - two of my favorites are from Romans.
ReplyDeleteThe first is Romans 8:26 - Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
The second is Romans 12:12 - Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.
These are from the King James, but I also like the NIV versions. What a wonderful job you have! - Robin
Hi Robin!
ReplyDeleteHow fabulous that both of these verses are about finding comfort in prayer! One of the greatest sources of peace.
Praying for you today!
