I've Tried...
At different times in my life, I've tried being everything and anything to everyone.
In Christ alone.
I've tried turning inward and turning toward other people.
In Christ alone.
I've tried conforming and I've tried to be my own person.
In Christ alone.
I've tried to be perfect and I've tried to be what I thought I was supposed to be.
In Christ alone.
I've tried using as many words as possible and I've tried no words at all.
In Christ alone.
I've tried trying to understand it all and I've tried resigning to the fact that I'll never understand anything.
In Christ alone.
I've tried focusing on one goal in life and I've tried spreading myself too thin.
In Christ alone.
When this world can provide nothing...
In Christ alone.
When you can find nothing good within yourself...
In Christ alone.
It's all about Him.
It always has been.
Wow! You just told my life's story. Be all. Do all. Say all. Make it work. Make it fit. Pull yourself up. But, praise the Lord, "in Christ alone, my hope is found"! He is the answer. He is the way. He is the guide. He is the strength. Yes, it's definitely all about Him. Thanks for the encouraging post.

Isn't it amazing how, with all the different stories in all the different women in the world, our stories can all be so similiar? That must be why we're Sisters!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your devotion here, Dana. You're in my prayers.
Have a wonderful day in the Lord.
