A Weekend of Half-Year Remembering
Today is June 30 - the halfway point of 2012.
Six months down, six months to go.
As you think about the past six months of your life, what stands out? Have you had some incredibly wonderful days? Some terrible heartache? A sprinkling of both?
What about the upcoming six months? What would you like to accomplish before the year is over? Do you have goals, hope and wishes for the rest of 2012?
Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. James 4:13-15
Make this a weekend of both remembering the first half of the year and planning for the future half. Lord willing, we have six more months to glorify Him, grow as a Christian woman and do our best to bless those around us in His name. How do you plan to spend the next 26 weeks?
