A Weekend of Power
There are some amazing windmill farms across Iowa and several other Midwestern states. Not only are they lovely to look at, but they are generating much-needed power for their nearby regions.
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 2 Corinthians 4:5-7
As much power as we can generate here on earth, it will never compare to the power of God. We serve a great and might and powerful Lord Who is beyond all that we can imagine, and that is to our benefit. Wind power or electric power are just for a moment, but He is forever.
Make this a weekend of being truly aware of the power of the Lord. He will do great and mighty things for us.
