I Know ...
I like to think that I'm a fairly intelligent person, despite my tendency to place things in locations that later elude me. (That's a fancy way of saying I lose things.)
There are many, many people who are smarter than me, more creative than me and have quicker minds than I do. The Internet, mathematics, combustion engines and space travel are proof of that.
But I know what I know about God because the Bible tells me in no uncertain terms. There is no denying the truth of my faith.
So here's what I do know:
I know that God knows our motives. (Genesis 22:12)
I know that God knows me by name. (Exodus 33:12)
I know that God looks into our hearts. (1 Chronicles 29:17)
I know that my redeemer lives. (Job 19:25)
I know that God can do anything. (Job 42:2)
I know that I am favored by God. (Psalm 41:11)
I know that everything God does is right. (Psalm 119:75)
I know how great God is. (Psalm 135:5)
I know that God stands up for me. (140:12)
I know that what God does will stand the test of time. (Ecclesiastes 3:14)
I know that it will be well. (Ecclesiastes 8:12)
I know how to be content. (Philippians 4:12)
I know whom I have believed in. (2 Timothy 1:12)
I know that I know that I know. (Colossians 2:1-3)
