White Chocolate Peppermint Hearts

With just more than a week until Valentine's day, you'll want to add this adorable little edible gift to your "I love you THIS much" list.

You'll use miniature candy canes and two bricks of almond bark (one of my all-time favorites). Add a few sprinkles and you're all set.

Start by unwrapping all the candy canes and pairing them up on a cutting board or baking tray covered with parchment paper. Choose canes that are approximately the same length or your love will be a little lop-sided.

Put the two bricks of almond bark in a microwave-safe dish and heat for 30 seconds. Store and put back in for 30 more seconds. Continue until it is soft and runny. Then use a small plastic spoon to pour in a small amount of bark. Start in the largest opening and use the spoon to smooth it out and up into the rounded parts of the canes.

Quickly, before it cools and starts to harden, add a few Valentine-themed sprinkles. Tuck the whole board into the refrigerator until the candy has set. Then carefully pack them into an air-tight container.
