Three Things I Loved This Week

I had to take Sadie to the vet this week. My 14-year-old puppy has had a reoccurring condition lately that only the vet's office could take care of. (I'll spare you the details.) Once we left, Sadie felt 100-percent better, the proof of which is written all over her face. We even went to the park by the lagoons so she could sniff around and watch the ducks. And then she slept the rest of the day.

After two visits to a two-week-long book sale, I spent a combine $5 on this amazing stack of books. I've already dug into several of them and have time set aside for even more. Our local sales are great places to find inexpensive copies of those books I have on my must-read list. So you know where I'll be for the next few days!

We have the special treat of twins on the property! Molly let me know earlier this week that we had visitors - like she normally does with squirrels and turkeys. This time it was a young doe with two sweet babies. They were enjoying breakfast when Molly started barking and hurried off to the woods. Talk about a week full of surprises!
