Eggnog Bread With Streusel Crumble And Eggnog Glaze

Eggnog flows freely in our house for those few weeks out of the year it's readily available. With that taste in mind, here's a great holiday recipe that will satisfy your sweet tooth and a longing for eggnog!

But be forewarned: the glaze is addictive. You'll want to put it on absolutely everything. And that's ok.

Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 Tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp cloves
pinch of salt
1/4 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups eggnog
1 5-oz cup plain Greek yogurt
2 Tbsp vanilla

Streusel:
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
pinch of salt
2 Tbsp butter

Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
4 Tbsp eggnog
1 Tbsp cinnamon

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray 10 mini loaf pans (or one large bread pan) with nonstick spray.

2. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.

3. In a stand mixer, combine butter and sugar until creamy. Add remaining ingredients and mix on medium speed until completely combined and smooth.

4. Slowly add in dry ingredients until thoroughly combined.

5. Evenly divide the batter between the 10 mini loaf pans.

6. In a small bowl, combine streusel ingredients, cutting in the butter as the last step.

7. Cover the tops of each loaf pan with streusel mix.

8. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-28 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Do not overtake or the bread will be too dry.

9. Remove loaf pans and cool completely on a wire rack.

10. When bread is cool, combine glaze ingredients and drizzle over loaves. Store any leftovers in an air-tight container.
