Why We Will Always Love Special Orders
This week I’ve been working on a special order of 30 handmade cards - 10 each of birthday, sympathy and encouragement. The friend who ordered them is a regular customer, and I love that we love the same things when it comes to cards: something pretty, something meaningful and something that shares our faith.
Inside all of my cards (and sometimes on the outside), you’ll find Scripture. That has been the core of everything Stuff From Trees stands for since the beginning. We are Christians before every other name or description we have. We’ve done many projects for many different people, but we will always run this shop the way we feel God is leading us to.
We sold out of much of our inventory over the Christmas season, and we are slowly beginning to put more items back into the Etsy shop. We pray over every piece we make, and we pray for the people who will purchase them and receive them as gifts. We’re not just putting a sticker on a piece of paper or painting a piece of wood. We’re creating ways for people to grow closer to God and closer to each other during those special moments we spend together.
As you look through the listings at Stuff From Trees, you may be inspired to ask us about a custom order. We love creating one-of-a-kind handmade gifts, and we love to add a little of our personalities to your special occasion. (Or ordinary, everyday occasions. We like them all.) Just message us with your ideas and we’ll gladly talk to you about making them come to life.
Above all else, we want you to know that we thank God for the wonderful people we’re meeting on this journey of art. If you’ve purchased from us before, thank you. We love and appreciate your interest in our work. If you’ve not visited us at stufffromtrees.etsy.com or found us at a local show, today’s the day! We’d love to meet you and show you what we have to offer.
The second half of this year is going to be amazing at Stuff From Trees, and we’re excited to show you how God is blessing us in so many ways. Thank you for your love, your loyalty and your delight is giving our art as gifts, and for even keeping some of it for yourself. You are why we will always love special orders.
