Why I Wear My Faith
I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, Paul wrote at the beginning of his letter to the church at Rome. That verse has always been close to my heart, and I pray that the jewelry I wear will be a testimony of my faith and a conversation starter with someone unfamiliar with these Scriptures and phrases. Here are just a few of my favorites.
Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 40:10 - For the days that I'm so hurried and rushed and need the reminder to slow it all down.
Let your faith be stronger than your fear. - Anything resembling fear comes from the enemy, not from God.
Be patient, gentle, humble, loving. Ephesians 4:2-3 - In this world where you can be anything, be this.
Pray. - So simple, but I need to pray every time I glance down at my hand and see that word.
Crosses - EMPTY crosses because my Savior is in heaven, seated at the right hand of God!
I am blessed. - How often I need to count my many blessings, ton by ton.
Love never fails. - Never. Ever. At no time. Nor will it.
I have loved you with an everlasting love. Jeremiah 31:3 - God has been showering me with love verses recently.
Blessed. - Beyond measure and exceeding abundantly above.
Tears in God's bottle. Psalm 56:8 - He has a record of every single tear I have ever shed, they touch His heart and He reaches out to me in comfort every time.
Let all that you do be done in love. - The right motivation behind everything we do.
Faith over fear. - I have given my heart to the God who is greater than anything I might be afraid of.
She is clothed with strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future. Proverbs 31:25 - One of my favorite Scriptures, reminding me that in the Lord I have all the strength I need for whatever He allows into my life.
Faith can move mountains. Matthew 17:20 - Don't tell God how big your mountains are. Tell your mountains how big your God is!
Daughter of the King. Galatians 3:26 - I'm so glad I'm part of the family of God, so I'm going to straighten my crown and represent Him well.
Be strong and courageous. Joshua 1:9 - My strength and courage come from God alone, and I will wear them as armor in this battle.
Saved by grace. - There's nothing special about me. I'm just a sinner saved by grace, and I thank the Lord for that every day.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 - I am weak, but He is strong. I turn to Him for all my strength because His strength is made perfect in my weakness.
