How I'm Praying For My Husband In 2025
Nineteen years ago today, I was one day away from marrying the love of my life. I had no idea what the coming years would bring, but looking back, it was the best decision we have ever made together. And the best anniversary present a woman can give her husband is the gift of prayer. Whether your special day is coming up soon or isn't for several months, start praying for him in some powerful ways today.
* Pray that he will have a desire to grow spiritually, in some way, every day. (2 Peter 3:18)
* Pray for his strength and endurance when he's at work. (Psalm 18:1-2)
* Pray for God's guidance in making daily decisions. (Proverbs 1:5-7)
* Pray that God will protect him from temptation and always show him a way out. (1 Corinthians 10:13)
* Pray for his eyes to be opened to the joyful moments around him. (John 15:11)

* Pray that he will take care of himself physically, being a good steward of the body God has given him. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
* Pray for traveling mercies when he is on the road, that he will always return home safely. (Psalm 191)
* Pray that his heart will be focused on God's will for your husband, your marriage and your home. (2 Peter 1:3-10)
* Pray that he will live with integrity and share his testimony with those around him. (Philippians 2:15-16)
And that's just a few to start with. Add your own prayers, ones specific to your husband, and watch how the Lord moves in his life.
I love you, sweetheart!
